Lavinia Bracci PhotoLavinia Bracci is an expert in the fields of full-immersion education, Service-Learning Pedagogy, teaching foreign languages, Intercultural Competence development and assessment.

She has collaborated as external expert with the Council of Europe for the creation of the RFCDC.

Besides being a professor herself, she has been researching and contributing in those fields with several publications.

Prof. Fiora Biagi

Prof. Alice Vannucci

Besides being a professor herself, she has been researching in those fields and collaborating with the Siena Italian Studies team for several projects.

 Antonio Giorgi

Antonio_Giorgi_PhotoAntonio Giorgi is an experienced financial and legal consultant. He currently acts as an administrative consultant for various international education structures and has been working as budget expert in several European projects.

 

 

 

Michela Farsetti

Michela Farsetti is a teacher of English (EFL) in a secondary school in Italy (Redi Liceo scientifico e linguistico Arezzo). She has been teaching foreign languages for 30 years, including English, Spanish and French, at different levels, from primary to secondary school, working as teacher and teacher trainer and as curriculum and material writer (Progetto Lingue 2000, training teachers of primary school, teaching English language to very young learners).
With a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures and a certificate as Teacher of Italian as Second Language (DITALS), she has also taught Italian as SL at Università per Stranieri di Siena and in secondary schools. Here she has developed many projects aimed at including foreign students in the Italian school system, working as teacher of Italian SL, teacher trainer, project designer and leader, and material developer.
She has a particular interest in global citizenship and digital literacy, and she has always been trying to make her English classes interactive, fun and relevant, in order to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century.
